Type specimens: Holotype: male, CHINA: Huoditang, Ningshan ( 108 ° 18 ΄E, 33 ° 19 ΄N), Shaanxi Province, alt. 1580m, 20. VIII. 1998, Decheng Yuan, light trapped. Paratypes: 1 male, 2 females, same data as holotype.

Diagnosis: Recognized by reddish brown body, vertex width 2.1–2.2 times eye width, antennal segment I length 1.4–1.7 times vertex width, antennal segment II reddish brown, apical portion blackish brown only, length 2 times head width (including eyes), scutellum reddish brown without spots, coxa reddish brown, femur pale reddish brown, with two dark rings. Similar in habitus to C. koreanus , easily distinguished by coloration of scutellum and coxa.

Description: Body oval, shining, reddish brown, covered with pale setae.

Head projected, shining; vertex without spots. Clypeus reddish brown, with sparse short setae. Eyes reddish brown. Antennae reddish brown, with dense pale pubescence, segment I cylindrical, slightly narrowed at base; segment II apical portion blackish brown. Labium reddish brown, extending to mesocoxa. Pronotum shining, with punctures; collar smooth, reddish brown, posterior margin blackish brown; calli reddish brown, shining, merged anteriorly, slightly raised, with a hollow near each anterolateral margin; posterior margins pale, concavely sinuate. Scutellum dark reddish brown, without punctures, lateral margins without spots. Hemelytron reddish brown, shining, covered with coarse reddish brown punctures; membrane pale brown, veins reddish brown. Leg reddish brown, coxa reddish brown to blackish brown, apical portion of femur with two red rings, tarsus and claw blackish brown. Venter blackish brown, with densely pale pubescence. Ostiolar peritreme pale reddish yellow.

Male genitalia: Left paramere ( Figs. 43, 44) strong, sensory lobe elongated, protuberance, slightly elevated at base, with sparse tooth, hypophysis depressed, apical portion with hook; right paramere ( Fig. 45) stout, apical portion bent, apex sharp; vesica ( Fig. 47) with membranous lobes and 4 sclerotized appendages. Distribution: China (Shaanxi).

Etymology: Named for the reddish brown coxa.
