Homoneura (Homoneura) stackelbergiana Papp View in CoL , stat. rev.

( Figs. 56–65 View FIGURES 56 – 60 View FIGURES 61 – 65 )

Homoneura (Homoneura) stackelbergiana Papp, 1984: 168 View in CoL . Type locality: North Korea. Shatalkin 1995: 56; Shatalkin, 200: 87.

Diagnosis. Mesonotum ( Fig. 58 View FIGURES 56 – 60 , 64 View FIGURES 61 – 65 ) with 3 dc (anteriormost dc at or slightly before transverse suture). Wing ( Fig. 60 View FIGURES 56 – 60 , 62 View FIGURES 61 – 65 ) hyaline with three isolated brown round spots on R2+3, R4+5 and M1, a brown cloud on r-m and a brown stripe constricted at middle on dm-cu. Abdomen (59, 65) yellow, without spots. Male genitalia (see Papp, 1984): epandrium with several strong setae on apical margin, surstylus indistinct in lateral view; gonopod slender subuliform in ventral view; aedeagus with a pair of tooth–like lateral processes and aedeagal sclerites round apically, with a shallow distal incision in ventral view.

Material examined. 10 3, 10 Ƥ ( CAUC), CHINA, Beijing City: Haidian District, Shangzhuang reservoir, 15. VII. 2008, Li Shi [40°06ʹ31.37ʺN 116°12ʹ50.82ʺE].

Distribution. Japan (Honshu), North Korea, Russia, New record to China (Beijing).

Remarks. Shatalkin (1995, 2000) proposed that Homoneura stackelbergiana was a junior synonym of Homoneura stackelbergi . He also illustrated the male genitalia in the lateral view of Homoneura stackelbergi which is the same as that of Homoneura stackelbergiana by Papp, but with no more explanations for the external characters. However, the species Homoneura stackelbergi has distinct diagnostic characters to separate it from Homoneura stackelbergiana by the following characters: the face having a pair of large black spots on upper 1/2, the parafacial having a black inner margin, and the abdominal tergites 2–5 having wide black posterior marginal band, its width about 1/2 height of each tergite.
