Syn., Tax.: Willmann 1952.

Forsslund (1957) hat die Art mit H. subglabra synonymisiert. Woas (1981) hält beide für gute Arten, die sich sehr nahe stehen; sie kommen partiell syntop vor.

Ökologie: Küstensalzwiesen und norddeutsche Binnensalzstelle.

Verbreitung: Paläarktis.
