Bot.: 4. 1696. – Epitype (Rico in Turland & Jarvis in Taxon 46: 476. 1997): India. Jottian, April 1806, Wallich 5299a (K; iso-BM).

Current name: Prosopis cineraria (L.) Druce (Fabaceae: Mimosoideae).
