Previously reported from Anegada, Antigua, Cuba, Barbuda, Jamaica, Loango, Puerto Rico and St. Martin ( Hungerford 1948; Nieser 1969a; Muñoz Riviaux et al. 2010; Naranjo et al. 2010; Lanigan and Hyslop 2011), we present the first record of this Caribbean species from The US Virgin Islands. Our material comes from the artificial impoundments on Mahogany Run.
