Distribution.
Palaearctic Region: China (Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Hebei, Henan, Hong Kong, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Shandong, Shanghai, Shanxi, Sichuan, Taiwan, Yunnan, Zhejiang); India (Arunachal Pradesh); South Korea ( Yiu 2009; Lin and Yang 2019; Danilevsky 2020). Oriental Region: Laos; Vietnam ( Ambrus and Tichý 2017).
Macau records.

Remarks.
The only specimen observed in Macau had a total length of 16.5 mm and a maximum width of 5.5 mm. Yiu (2009) reported that the larval stages develop in bamboo canes and jujube trees. This is supported by Hua (2002), who listed Bambusa and Ziziphus sativa as host plants of this species.
