References: Boero & Led (1971) 3; Anderson & Prestwood (1972) 2; Hugot et al. (1991) 1. Comment: Boero & Led (1971) described Syphaciella aspiculuris from E. e. wetmorei. Anderson & Prestwood (1972) described Eudromoxyura elonbyrdi from E. e. elegans and E. e. albida. Later, Hugot et al. (1991) studied these specimens and synonymized both species with E. aspiculuris .
