Materials examined. 18 individuals; Stations Vas. 2(4), 7(1), 10(3), 18(2), 20(3), 34(1), 36(3), 37(1).
Distribution. Atlanto-Mediterranean. The species was reported from Cyprus by Russo (1997), Kocatas et al. (2001) and Christodoulou et al. (2013). In Vasiliko Bay (current study), it is considered as a rare species (FI: 19.04 %).
Ecology. Ampithoe ramondi was found in association with algae, seagrasses and mussels and on rocks and stones at 0–69 m depth ( Kocatas et al. 2001). In Vasiliko Bay it was found at 10–59 m depth (37 + 19 m), mainly in muddy sand and also sand substrates, with organic matter ranging between 4.204 –10.314 % (7.102 + 2.079 %) and in association with C. prolifera and C. cylindracea . It was found in stations classified according to the Bentix Index as in: “good” (3 stations, 6 individuals) and “moderate” (5 stations, 12 individuals). It was recorded at the ports (2 individuals) and at the fish farm stations (4 individuals).
