Canthidium dohrni Harold, 1867b: 64 View in CoL [transferred to Neocanthidium View in CoL by Vulcano & Pereira (1967: 591); transferred to Canthidium (Canthidium) View in CoL by Martínez & Halffter (1986a: 27); here transferred to the subgenus Neocanthidium View in CoL ]. Type locality: Southern French Guiana and the Lower Amazon River (“Südliches Cayenne und Gebiet des Amazonestromes (Bates!)”). Type material: Unknown number of syntypes (MNHN—ex Bates and Deyrolle collections). Distribution: French Guiana and Brazil (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).
