Distribution: South and southeast Asia.
Countries: Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore and Indonesia.
Habitat: Marine and brackish waters.
Maximum size: 450 mm TL.
Material examined: UMMZ 225447 (2 al, 95-137 mm TL) (1 c&s), Thailand, Prachuab Khiri Khan gulf of Thailand shore at Ban Khlong Wan .
