Type material of Spheropistha xinhua (examined). Holotype ♀ (coll. no. Xh 1), CHINA: Hainan Island, Xincun Town, Xinhua Village , 3.IV.2011, leg. A. T. Barrion et al.; Paratype: 1 juvenile, same data as holotype. Description and diagnosis. See Zhu (1998) for a redescription and diagnosis of both sexes. Distribution. China ( Hainan). Comments. The type material of S. xinhua was examined and no differences between A. zhui and S. xinhua could be distinguish, so we consider S. xinhua syn. nov. to be a junior synonym of A. zhui .
