Bathrips jasminae Ananthakrishnan, 1968: 260 View in CoL .

Described from India and recorded from Taiwan ( Wang 2002), this species is here recorded from mainland China. Females of jasminae View in CoL cannot be distinguished from those of melanicornis View in CoL , but males of jasminae View in CoL have numerous small pore plates on abdominal sternites III–VII, whereas males of melanicornis View in CoL have a single pore plate on sternite VII.

Specimens examined. CHINA: Shaanxi province: 5 females, 4 males, Yangling, Xi'an, from Ligustrum quihoui (Oleaceae) View in CoL , 10.vii.2012, coll. M. Mirab-balou.

Distribution. China (Shaanxi, Taiwan); India.
