DISTRIBUTION: Burundi, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Niger, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Yemen, Zambia,

Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: ‘Lusaka’, in Lusaka Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): According to the African Moths (2019) website, larval foodplants of the taxon include: one Anacardiaceae species, Rhus pyroides (Burch.) Moffett ; one Cyperaceae species, Cyperus rotundus L.; one Poaceae species, Oryza sativa L. [Rice]; two Pinaceae species, Pinus patula Schltdl. & Cham. and Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirb.) Franco [Douglas-fir] and one Solanaceae species, Solanum tuberosum L.
