DISTRIBUTION: Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Oman, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Somalia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: ‘Lusaka’, in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include two Celastraceae species, Maytenus buxifolia Griseb. and Gymnosporia buxifolia (L.) Szyszył., and some yet to be identified species from the plant family Celastraceae .
