DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Petauke, East Luangwa distric in NE Rhodesia [now NE Zambia], Eastern Province ; Ndola, in Copperbelt Province; Lusaka , in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): The African Moths (2019) webpage reports that larval foodplants of the taxon include a yet to be identified Senecio sp. (Asteraceae) .
