DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Togo, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Kopa and Mpika in Muchinga Province ; Kasama and Mporokoso in Northern Province; Serenje in Central Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include the Euphorbiaceae species ( Bridelia micrantha (Hochst.) Baill. ), the Fabaceae species ( Cynometra alexandri C.H.Wright ), the Apocynaceae species (Dipiorhynchus sp.), Malvaceae species ( Dombeya rotundifolia (Hochst.) Planch. , D. tiliacea (Endl.) Planch. , Grewia flavescens Juss., G.
occidentalis L., Triumfetta brachyceras K.Schum. ) and the Anacardiaceae species ( Searsia chirindensis
(Baker f.) Moffett).
