DISTRIBUTION: Bahrain, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Oman, Réunion, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Zambia.
Also occurs in: Oriental: India, Pakistan; Palaearctic: Afghanistan, Armenia, Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Palestine, Russia, Syria , Turkey, Uzbekistan.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: ‘Lusaka’, in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants include the yet to be identified Fabaceae species Alhagi sp. ( Hacker 2016) .
