COMMON NAME (S): White Barred Hawkmoth, White Barred Hawk, Swallow Hawkmoth or Swallow Hawk.

DISTRIBUTION: Algeria, Botswana, Cameroon, Comoros, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Somalia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: East Luangwa District , in Eastern Province ; Kasama, in Northern Province ; Chirundu, Kafue and Lusaka , in Lusaka Province; Mpika, in Muchinga Province .

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include two Loganiaceae species ( Strychnos henningsii Gilg , and another Strychnos sp. ) ( African Moths 2019).
