COMMON NAME (S): Falcate Polyptychus Hawkmoth or Falcate Polyptychus . SYNONYM(S): None. IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE). DISTRIBUTION: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea,
Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe. LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Nyika plateau, in Muchinga Province; Lusaka, in Lusaka Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Known larval foodplants include one Anacardiaceae species ( Sclerocarya birrea subsp. caffra (Sond.)
Kokwaro) and two Fabaceae species ( Erythrina abyssinica DC. and E. excelsa Baker ) (Ķhne 2008;
