COMMON NAME (S): Marbled emperor. SYNONYM(S): None. IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE). DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia , South Africa, Tanzania,

Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe. LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Chongwe and Kafue, in Lusaka Province; Mpika, in Muchinga Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants include: three Fabaceae species ( Acacia mellifera (M.Vahl) Benth. , A. erubescens Oliv. and

A. hereroensis Engl. View in CoL ) in Namibia ( Oberprieler 1995) View in CoL and one Fabaceae View in CoL species ( A. nigrescens Oliv. View in CoL ) in

South Africa ( Oberprieler 1995). In addition to this, the African Moths (2019) website includes four other

Fabaceae View in CoL species namely, A. burkei Benth. View in CoL , A. fleckii Schinz View in CoL ; A. polyacantha Willd. View in CoL and Acacia mellifera

(M.Vahl) Benth. as larval foodplants of tbe taxon. No specific host plants of the taxon are reported for
