DISTRIBUTION: Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gambia, Guinea, Reunion, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Chipata, in Eastern Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include four Rubiaceae species ( Haldina cordifolia (Roxb.) Ridsdale , Burttdavya nyassica Hoyle , Morinda sp. , and Catunaregam spinosa (Thunb.) Tirveng. ), one Lamiaceae species
( Tectona grandis L.f.), one Fabaceae species ( Falcataria moluccana (Miq.) Barneby & J.W.Grimes ) and one Verbenaceae species ( Stachytarpheta urticifolia (Salisb.) Sims ).
