DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Togo, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Kafue, in Lusaka Province.

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): One Fabaceae species, Arachis hypogaea L.; one Theaceae species, Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze; four Rubiaceae species, Coffea arabica L. , C. canephora Pierre ex A.Froehner , Fleroya stipulosa (DC.) Y.F.Deng and Pavetta lanceolata Eckl. ; two Combretaceae species, Combretum sp. and Quisqualis indica L.; one Colchicaceae species, Gloriosa superba L.; two Malvaceae species, Gossypium sp. and Theobroma cacao L.; one Convolvulaceae species, Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.; three Rosaceae species, Malus sylvestris (L.) Mill., Prunus domestica L. and Rosa sp. ; one Bignoniaceae species, Markhamia sp.; one Euphorbiaceae species, Ricinus communis L.; one Anacardiaceae species, Spondias mombin L. and one Poaceae species, Zea mays L..
