COMMON NAME (S): Large emerald pearl.

Leone, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Livingstone and Zimba, in Southern Province; Mpika, in Muchinga Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants for the taxon include: three Apocynaceae species ( Tabernaemontana persicariifolia Jacq. , Tabernanthe iboga Baill. and Nerium oleander L.) and one Rubiaceae species ( Gardenia jasminoides
J.Ellis) in the Réunion; three Apocynaceae species ( Tabernaemontana divaricata (L.) R.Br. ex Roem. &
Schult., Nerium oleander L. and Ervatamia coronaria (Jacq.) Stapf ) in the Seychelles; two Rubiaceae species ( Gardenia jasminoides J.Ellis and another yet to be identified Gardenia sp. ) in Tanzania; one
Arecaceae species ( Raphia sp. ) and one Podocarpaceae species ( Afrocarpus usambarensis (Pilg.)
C.N.Page) in unnamed African country or countries. No specific host plants of the taxon have been reported for Zambia.
