SYNONYM(S): Botys latiferalis Walker, 1966a ; Xacca trigonalis Walker, 1869b ; Ulopeza phaeothoracica Hampson, 1912b .

DISTRIBUTION: Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Chirundu, in Lusaka Province.

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants of the taxon include one Moringaceae species namely, Moringa oleifera ( Poltavsky et al. 2018b) .
