COMMON NAME (S): Oblique eggarlet.
SYNONYM(S): Beralade fumosa Distant, 1897d .
IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).
DISTRIBUTION: Botswana, Djibouti, Eritrea, Mozambique, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Livingstone and Kazungula, in the Southern Province ; Kafue, in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): While Vachellia karroo (Hayne) Banfi & Galasso (Fabaceae) has been reported as the host plant of the taxon in South Africa and Zimbabwe ( Pinhey 1960; Taylor 1949), no host plants have yet been reported for the taxon Zambia.
