Etymology
The species epithet refers to the type locality in the Persian Gulf. It is to be treated as adjectival for the purposes of nomenclature.
Type material
All material was collected in Iran (Persian Gulf).
Holotype Male (ZMH-42323), about 21 mm without uropod; Kish Island, 26 o 34 ′ 503 ″ N 53 o 57 ′ 111 ″ E, 24.01.2006.
