Replaced synonym: Erica daboecii L. (1762) , nom. illeg.

Lectotype (Nelson in Watsonia 23: 55, f. 1. 2000): [icon] " Erica Hibernica fol. Myrti pilosis subtus incanis" in Petiver, Gazophyl. Nat.: 42, t. 27, f. 4. 1702-1709.

Current name: Daboecia cantabrica (Huds.) K. Koch View in CoL ( Ericaceae ).

Note: This is based on Erica daboecii L. (1762) , an illegitimate renaming of Vaccinium cantabricum Huds. (1762) .
