This species was reported from Columbina passerina (L) ( Columbidae ) from USA ( Casto 1980).

Material examined. From quills (secondaries) of the Eurasian Collared Dove Streptopelia decaocto (Frivaldszky) (Columbidae) (new host): 12 females, 1 nymph (Syr. 190); Jordan, Al-Dhleil, 12 March 2002; leg. M. Skoracki.
