Tetralobus indicus Candèze, 1857: 374 (as in litteris name attributed to Parzudaki, nomen nudum).

Type depository. Type, male (collection unknown). Laurent (1964c) mentioned that the type specimen should be located at the BMNH (ex coll. La Ferté). However, this specimen has not been found in the collection (M. Geiser, pers. com.).
