Pachylaelaps haeros var. mexicanus Stoll, 1893: 37 . Type locality: Mexico.

Notes. Our placement of this species is provisional. It is based only on the fact that it was described as a variety of Pachylaelaps haeros , which we place in Megalolaelaps .
