Boieiro et al. (1999) reported it from Tavira (Algarve). Gamarra & Outerelo (2020) reported this species from Algarve.

Distribution: Known from Caucasus, Italy and Portugal, Egypt and Morocco, Iran and also the Afrotropical Region (Sch̡lke & Smetana, 2015).
