Boieiro et al. (1999) reported it from Castro Marim (Algarve). Gamarra & Outerelo (2020) reported this species from Algarve.
Distribution: Known from Italy, Portugal and Spain, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, and also from the Afrotropical and Oriental Region (Sch̡lke & Smetana, 2015).
