Key to the species of Entisberus
1. Legs, including femora and trochanters ochraceous, and with only coxae dark ferruginous-brown; antennae ochraceous with basal one-fourth only of first segment dark ferruginous-brown; more than half length of first antennal segment extending beyond apex of head; Y-shaped elevation on scutellum usually with only a few fuscous punctures in middle, and with middle not appearing distinctly ferruginous; pronotal width usually much less than twice head width......................... 2
- Legs with coxae and trochanters dark ferruginous-brown; fore femora with basal one-third dark ferruginous-brown; middle and hind femora with basal four-fifths dark ferruginous-brown; antennae with basal three-fourths of first segment dark brown, and fourth antennal segment medially brown; only half length of first antennal segment extending beyond apex of head; Yshaped elevation on scutellum with centre interrupted by dense dark ferruginous-brown punctures, obscuring the pale ochraceous area in the centre, thus appearing rather ferruginous; pronotal width usually much less than twice head width; pronotal width twice or almost twice head width..................................................... interruptus Scudder
2. Anterior lobe of pronotum in male strongly gibbous; anterior lobe of pronotal disc in both sexes without fine, oblique furrows; anterior lobe of pronotal disc in female with dense, decumbent, golden pubescence; humeral angles of pronotum prominent, but not sharply angled; mesosternum with acute spines, especially in male........................ bergrothi Kondorosy
- Anterior lobe of pronotum in male not strongly gibbous, but gently convex; anterior lobe of pronotal disc in both sexes with fine, oblique furrows, but otherwise pruinose and without dense, decumbent, golden pubescence; humeral angles of pronotum sharply angled; mesosternum in both sexes without spine........................................ archetypus Distant
