2. Aralia caule petiolisque aculeatis, foliolis inermibus villosis.
Habitat in China. Osbeck.
Caulis simplex, aculeis spinosissimus, nudus, in summitate tantum foliosus. Petioli compositi, tripartiti, aculeati, villosi. Folia partialia pinnata & insuper foliola 2 ad ramificationes petioli. Foliola s. pinnae ovatae, serratae, subtus praesertim villosae, duplo majores, quam in praecedente. Panicula ramosa umbellulis numerosis. Differt itaque a praecedenti, quod nulli aculei in foliolis per discum secundum venas adspersi; quod folia non glabra sed duplo majora. Habitus etjam diversus.
