Distribution in Turkey: This taxon is one of the most common Acridid species in whole Anatolia ( Karabağ, 1958; Weidner, 1969; Karabağ et al. 1971, 1974, 1980; Demirsoy, 1975, 1977; Salman, 1978; Güneş, 1984; Erman & Salman, 1990; Ünal, 2006b; Sevgili et al. 2012)
