Eustenogaster nigra differs from other species of the genus in having the second metasomal tergum strongly convex dorsally (Figs. 17, 18). The condition in E. scitula approaches to that of E. nigra , but E. nigra is easily distinguished from E. scitula by the yellow spots on the clypeus ( Figs. 57 View FIGURE 57 ), upper part of mesopleuron, scutellum, metanotum and propodeum, all absent.

Distribution: China: Yen-Ping, Hong Kong, Yunnan (erroneously cited as “ Stenogaster scitula ” in Lee 1985; 1987); Vietnam; Thailand (new record).
