Agyrtodes Portevin, 1907:75 View in CoL ; Jeannel, 1936: 103 (redescription). Type species: Agyrtodes ovatus Portevin View in CoL (monotypy).

= Ragytes Portevin, 1914a: 196 View in CoL ; Jeannel, 1936: 103 syn. (not stated as taxonomic change). Type species: Ragytes luteipes Portevin View in CoL (= Choleva monticola Broun View in CoL ) (monotypy).

Distribution: Southern Chile (1 species) and 19 species in eastern Australia and New Zealand (Seago, 2009). Biology: Adults and larvae feed on the undersurfaces of woody polypore fungi; also collected on rotted logs and

dead wood.
