Ragytodes Jeannel, 1936: 14 . Type species: Ragytodes ocellifer Jeannel (monotypy).

= Tricholoma Hlisnikovský, 1964b: 309 ; Newton, 1998: 75, 169 syn. Type species: Tricholoma kaszabi Hlisnikovský (= Ragytodes ocellifer Jeannel ) (orig. des.).

Distribution: Southern Chile, southwestern Argentina.

Biology: Unknown; found rarely on old logs, or in moss or litter in forests.
