Jeannel, 1936: 52; Szymczakowski, 1968: 14 (holotype seen); Salgado, 2011d: 35 (male type seen).

Holotype male [a single specimen in original description, assumed as holotype] in MNHN (original description refers to [probably] Grouvelle collection; Jeannel, 1936 refers to Pic colletion).

Type locality: Cochabamba [Department], Bolivia.

Distribution: Bolivia: Cochabamba Department; Ecuador (c. dilatatus ): Guayas and Pichincha Provinces; Peru: Cuzco Department.

= E. curvipes dilatatus Salgado, 2004: 3, 2011d: 35 View in CoL syn. Holotype male in CMNC. Type locality: 27 km S Punta Lopez, 150 m, Guayas Province, Ecuador.
