Type locality: Reserva San Ramon, 850 m, 38 km NW San Ramon, Alajuela Province, Costa Rica.

Distribution: Costa Rica: Alajuela, Guanacaste, Heredia, Limón, and Puntarenas Provinces; Honduras: Gracias a Dios Department; Nicaragua: Río San Juan Department; Panama: Canal Zone and Panamá Province.
