Holotype male in IN- BIO.

Type locality: Monte Verde Biology Station, 10º19.672’ N 84º49.141’ W, 1515 m, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica.

Distribution: Costa Rica: Alajuela, Guanacaste, Puntarenas, and San José Provinces; Panama: Chiriquí and Panamá Provinces.
