Holotype male in FMNH.

Type locality: Las Trancas , 19.5 km ESE Recinto , 1250 m, Ñuble Province , Chile.

Distribution : Chile: Cautín , Chiloé , Llanquihue , Malleco , Ñuble , Osorno , Quillota, Talca, and Valdivia Provinces.
