(as trichophorus); Salgado, 2002b: 513 (as trichophorus, assignment to subgenus, redescription), 2006: 105 (as trichophorus), 2011b: 96 (as trichophorus). Note: Spelling here corrected.

Holotype male in ZSMC. Type locality: Nahuelbuta W, 600 – 800 m, Peillem-Pille, Arauco Province, Chile.

Distribution: Chile: Aisén, Arauco, Cautín, Chiloé, Concepción, Llanquihue, Malleco, Ñuble, Osorno, Palena, Talca, and Valdivia Provinces.
