Salgado, 2010c: 215 (assignment to group peruviensis), 2011c: 437; Gnaspini & Peck, 2019: 10 (tentative assignment to group, and subgroup).

Holotype male in SBPC [now in CMNC]. Type locality: San Vito de C.B., 1200 m, Las Cruces, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica.

Distribution: Costa Rica: Cartago and Puntarenas Provinces.
