Holotype female [a single specimen in original description, assumed as holotype] in BMNH.

Type locality: Maldonado, [Maldonado Department], Uruguay.

Distribution: Uruguay: Maldonado Department: known only from type locality.

Note: This species was not assigned to species group in Salgado (2010c) because it was based only on a female.
