Lectotype male (designated in Wheeler, 1979b; an additional female “ syntype ” examined) in BMNH.

Type locality: Volcán de Chiriquí, [Chiriquí Province], Panama.

Distribution: Panama: Chiriquí Province: known only from type locality.
