This species has long proboscis as previous two philoliches. It was recorded in Eastern Africa from Ethiopia to Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and DRC ( Oldroyd 1957). This species was reported from Saudi Arabia ( Müller et al. 2012a).
