This species has Palearctic origin. Tabanus arabicus was recorded from Iraq, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia ( Moucha, 1976; Amoudi & Leclercq 1996; Ježek et al. 2017). It was listed in the checklist of Turkish Tabanidae Fauna ( Kiliç 1999) .
