This species is reported for the first time in Venezuela, representing the northernmost record for this species. It was previously known from Bolivia (type) and an unknown locality in Peru ( Linnavuori 1959). Both specimens were dissected and their genitalia compared to the published illustrations of the species ( Linnavuori 1959).
