General distribution. Southern Anatolia (Muğla province, Taurus Mts. in Cilicia) ( Tamanini 1955a, 1970; Andersen 1995), Iran ( Andersen 1995; Modarres Awal 2008, as V. mancinii ). The nominotypical subspecies, V. m. mancinii , is distributed in Balkan Peninsula and South European Russia (Krasnodarsk Region) ( Andersen 1995, Kanyukova 2006).
